I'm a librarian who has been working in education from K-12 to Higher Ed. I've got a background in Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, and Information Science. If you'd like to learn more about me, please check out the "About" page. Or if you'd like to see some examples of previous work take a look at "What I'm Making". Thank you for your time!
I have something I tell myself that leads me through learning anything - whether it's a new game or the model for some information processing theory, being able to reflect on where you're at in the learning process is important!

I worked as a Public Services Associate for a year before becoming a Data Services Librarian at Fant Memorial Library.
I previously worked as a lecturer at Mississippi State University, teaching everything from Statistics to General Psychology.
I worked with teachers and students at St. Francis Xavier School as the Educational Technology Coordinator. I taught K-5 computer skills and introduced junior high students to CAD, electronics, and digital citizenship. I also implemented a 1 to 1 Chromebook program, trained teachers how to use digital tools in their classrooms, and helped teachers work through IT support issues.
I received a Masters of Arts in Cognitive Psychology at Arizona State University and I was able to work with Dr. Danielle McNamara on projects like iSTART and Writing Pal. This helped me develop my skills in coding, curriculum development, and data collection, as well as get some experience developing the tools that schools adopt for use in the classroom.
I received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Christian Brothers University. There I was able to study learning and development, as well as research methods in the behavioral sciences.
